Who needs Injury Prevention Services?
Individuals with little to no acute complaints/distress at the time, wishing to learn strategies and exercises to prevent chronic pain.
- People with physically demanding jobs -Athletes and active people
- Older adults
- People with a history of recurring issues
- Pre and post surgical patients
- Growing kids and adolescent athletes
Is this Physical therapy?
Yes, these are evidence-based physical therapy consultations done prior to a diagnosed condition. They consist of detailed examination, education, developing a plan of care including exercises specific to your goals.
Injury prevention services do not always include manual therapy/massages. These maybe used as medically necessary for rehabilitation services.
How are the services provided?
In person, virtually and group workshops
How many sessions would I need for injury prevention and early intervention?
Injury prevention services are designed to provide you with a plan of care to make you self sufficient. Thus, requiring lesser number of visits than traditional physical therapy.
Depending on the service selected, you may need 2-3 sessions for one-on-one consultations. *Optional follow-ups available as necessary.
For group sessions, you may sign up as needed for supervised care.
Do you perform regular physical therapy rehabilitation?
Yes, regular physical therapy rehabilitation services for post diagnoses are provided on a case-to-case basis. Virtual and in-person sessions are available based on medical necessity.
Do you accept insurance?
No, all services are out of pocket. We currently accept checks and Zelle payments.
Letters and Super bills outlining the services with CPT codes can be provided to the client upon request. These may be used to submit to employers or insurances with out of network benefits.
How are group programs or workshops conducted?
Corporate or community-based group programs and workshops are available on a single contract or retainer agreement. Location is determined based on the availability and needs of the client.
